About the Role
We’re looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team and help build and maintain the infrastructure that powers Saf3AI’s AI governance platform. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices.
You’ll work closely with our senior engineers to deploy, monitor, and scale our services while learning best practices in modern cloud-native development.
What You’ll Do
- Help maintain and improve our CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Assist in managing cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, Lambda)
- Write Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Monitor system health and respond to alerts using Datadog and PagerDuty
- Automate repetitive tasks through scripting (Python, Bash)
- Participate in on-call rotations (with mentorship support)
- Document infrastructure and processes
- Collaborate with developers to improve deployment workflows
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 0-2 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related field
- Basic understanding of Linux systems administration
- Familiarity with at least one cloud provider (AWS preferred)
- Experience with Git and version control workflows
- Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow
Nice to Have:
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Understanding of networking concepts
- Any cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure)
